A little more about me
I enjoy making difficult technology feel manageable.
I’m an Auckland-based technology leader who is happiest where platforms, operations, delivery, and people intersect.
Why I do this work
Over more than 25 years, I’ve worked across enterprise, government, essential services, and smaller organisations. The technology has changed enormously, but the part I enjoy has stayed much the same: understanding a difficult situation, finding a practical way through it, and helping people feel confident about what comes next.
I like being close enough to the technology to ask useful questions and close enough to the business to understand what really matters. Sometimes that means shaping a roadmap; sometimes it means getting into the detail with a team to unblock delivery.
How I work
My default is to be calm, direct, and curious. I don’t believe good leadership requires having every answer; it requires creating the conditions for the team to find the right answer, make a sound decision, and follow it through.
I care about the less visible parts of delivery too—ownership, support, documentation, mentoring, and whether the service will still work well after the project team has moved on.
Where I can help
- Leading Modern Workplace, endpoint, infrastructure, cloud, or platform functions.
- Turning transformation projects into stable, measurable operational services.
- Clarifying ownership, governance, support processes, and technical direction.
- Coordinating complex delivery across engineering, service, security, and business teams.
- Mentoring engineers and building confidence through clear expectations and practical support.
What I am looking for
I am open to senior leadership or lead roles across Modern Workplace, infrastructure, cloud platforms, technology operations, and service delivery. I am primarily interested in permanent positions and contracts, and I remain open to other arrangements where the work is a strong fit.
I am based in Auckland for roles requiring office presence and am also open to hybrid and remote opportunities.
